Well I'm hooked on the show. I thought it was very enjoyable. And the ending literally made me gasp!

I've ordered the book as well. This looks like it will be a great read. :)

It was her self righteousness. In the beginning of season 4 she wouldn't let Kara go off searching, but yet remember the time she sent Kara off against orders to go search for the arrow?

She annoyed the hell out of me quite a lot. :P Especially in the beginning of season 4.

Well my friend loved it. :D

And yeah, I feel sorry for him. On the first day I remember him asking if I had any ear plugs...then saying how his friend described them sounding like 'a swarm of two ton bees'. :P

Oh Sassy, I'm so very glad to see you again...I just wish it were under different circumstances. I've been doing a reread of LotR as well. What a beautiful and eloquent post.

Thanks all. I'm pretty proud of them, especially as I've never felt I'm much good at landscape photography. They nearly look professional. Though I think it's hard not to come away with good photos from the Lake District!

Many Americans I have met don't understand the differences between Socialism, Marxism, and Communism, they often seem to think they are all one and the same, having been too lazy or stubborn to actually find out for themselves. I don't know the difference between them. We didn't really delve...

The Daily Show pulled up a clip from McCain's campaign back in 2000 where he was advocating the more weathy paying higher taxes. A person in the audience was questioning him about it and he said something to the effect of him thinking it wasn't unreasonable to a weathly person to pay more. It's incr...

But we are not going to edit posts simply because we disagree with them. Er, Voronwë, I complained about his posting style , not any of his political opinions. You most certainly have jurisidiction over that. It WAS dismissed here, Yes, because people smelled something fishy. The same happened on c...

Eru, do you think Obama's constant attempts at class warfare are uniting or dividing? What are you talking about? What class warfare? Palin is not dividing with her comments. Sorry but you're just plain wrong on this one. She pissed off A LOT of people with her "real" America statement. S...

If it had been true it would have been a story, although dismissed here and by most of the media. If that was a true story, knowing the nature of the people who post here, I am darned sure they would all condemn such an atrocious act. Your constant lumping us all together and then accusing us of ha...

hal, when are you going to learn that disagreement does not = personal attack?? Your constant accusations that we all hate Palin because we very much disagree with her on most issues is beyond infuriating. I'm absolutely sick of you saying we and the media distort things. All you have to do is list...

I also don't have any confidence in her ability to see the big picture, to bring various factions together or to grasp any kind of complex issues. I see her as a divider, not a uniter. And I find her "small-town" mind set to be quite off-putting and not what I would like to see in any kin...
