Loving the Murderbot series! Nearly done. They're very short, aren't they. CCould read them over a weekend except I'm Reading them nice and slow to savour.

So, Leckie, you say?

Yes, the murderbots are novellas.

And yes, Ann Leckie. Murderbot at a better, elevated level. Recommended by Prim. Absolutely amazing, as all her recommendations.

Went to download the first book and discovered I already had it; I had downloaded at Prim's suggestion three years ago, though I had not read it - must have been in the middle of other reads and forgotten about it.

I am forever grateful to amazon for informing that I already own such-and-such title.

Reading the first of Brandon Sanderson's stormlight series; quite bored...

I'm reading the Raksurah series by Martha Wells and, to my surprise, I'm enjoying.

Martha Wells of the Murderbot Dairies? I'm not surprised at all that you are enjoying her.

Murderbot is SciFi, so high odds I'd enjoy that.

Raksurah series is fantasy, with heroesthat have wings, so I went in with skepticism, expecting something like Dragon Riders of Pern, which is okay but doesn't shake my tree. So far - having read only one book - Raksurah series is pretty good.

So I finished the four stormlight books. Am on the fence about Sanderson. At least they are nice and fat.

What should I read next?

Kindle’s first reads program has the new Charlie Homberg - Spellbreaker - available for free for prime members.

I started reading it last night - decent! Better than the last one of the paper magician series.

Thanks! Are there notifications or do you check on a certain day of the month for free offers?

I think this is a monthly program. You get one or two books every month.

Gonna leave this here.

Don't Cross this Virtual Picket Line
To support Amazon workers and let the company know that we do not approve of their union-busting tactics, a one-week boycott of the company has been planned. From Sunday, March 7th to Saturday, March 13th, everyone is being asked to not use Amazon or Amazon Prime and do not stream videos using the Amazon Prime video service.
