Thanks for the warm, woolly welcome! For those who don't know me, let me introduce myself. I am a purple sheep from Ireland who was scheduled for slaughter. Then I found a ring, a ring of friends who took turns wearing me as a coat and smuggled me here to America. This kindness came at a price. I have promised to read a book called Lord of the Flings. Evidently it is a book they all think is swell. Though I have heard the Author, Mr. Token, has stolen quite a bit of his material from the Harry Potter series, I shall give it a try. Those who rescued me have returned to their various homelands. I truly miss Ireland and that ring of friends. May we share a green pasture again someday.

Don’t read silly books. Watch the movies! If you still feel the need for a book, I suggest the Bathtime Companion LoTR’s Movie Picture Book with gorgeous scenes of Arwen at the Fords and Dreamy Blue-eyed Frodo. It’s waterproof, so you can take it in the hot-tub (I’m just assuming that Sheep like hot-tubs).

Aha! It is our beloved Sheep!

tinwë has taken you down an interesting path already with promises of hot tubs and dreamy, blue-eyed Hobbits. I'm not sure I've been down this path myself even, so maybe I'll join you, though I am not into Frodo at all.

Is Frodo that Irish singer with U2? I've never gazed into his eyes because he's always wearing those funky sunglasses. Sheep avoid hot tubs. Don't you know about shrinkage? George does.

I have missed you too. Guess this Hall of Friar thing will help fill the void.

Hello Elantari! (Hans had to tell me your true identity) It was good getting to know you, too. Thanks for allowing me to ask so many questions about your life. What is the Youtube link to your son singing? I want to show off his talents. Since Lisa isn't on here, please tell her "Howdy!" for me. That's genyouwine southern talk for you! Now, go play your horn, just because you can.

Welcome to jeb1994! We hope you'll like it here!
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King
