Nope - earlier

Edit: here's the quote:

Quote:
They are not allowed in the country. I can not, his heart is wrong.

In the movie, does Legolas speak this line while holding a pitcher?

Is it Haldir, speaking about Gimli: "They are not permitted in our land. I cannot allow him to pass."

I'm curious as to what Frelga was referring to. It's been a while since I've seen the films, but I used to know them pretty well, and I can't remember anything like that!

I'll be back with another quote soon.

I thought it may have been Legolas saying "a matter for tears and not yet for song" but when I looked it up, it was an indirect quote.

Did he say that while holding a pitcher? I don't remember that! I just remember Galadriel pouring water from a pitcher into her mirror in a very weird way. I guess it may be time for me to watch it again!

I remember that because it was a caption contest on TORC. The winner was something like "Legolas was devastated to learn on Antiques Roadshow that what he thought was a priceless First Age artifact was in fact a cheap Dwarven forgery."

Here is the new quote. The original is the last two sentences of a longer speech, the last one of which I have quoted or paraphrased often. It changed a lot, but interesting the sense didn't change that much.

If necessary it is. There is peace of mind.

"And in a few thousand years (which mean nothing to me), this too will be a priceless dwarven artifact"

ETA: whoops. cross-posted with V.

I've never been a big fan of caption contests, but if you guys want to start one, be my guest.

Here is the quote again, since we got a little of track. As I said before, the original is the last two sentences of a longer speech, the last one of which I have quoted or paraphrased often. It changed a lot, but interesting the sense didn't change that much.

If necessary it is. There is peace of mind.

Or Aragorns dictate about the Shire being for Hobbits alone?
