Does it have any key words from the original?

Edit to bring it to the new page:
Do you want to go to the side?

Um... One; but its root, not the whole word.

Frelga speculated about Treebeard on the previous page, I don't think that got addressed.

If it's not Treebeard, I think we'll need a subtle hint...

Is the quote found in Lord of the Rings?
The dumbest thing I've ever bought
was a 2020 planner.

"Does anyone ever think about Denethor, the guy driven to madness by staying up late into the night alone in the dark staring at a flickering device he believed revealed unvarnished truth about the outside word, but which in fact showed mostly manipulated media created by a hostile power committed to portraying nothing but bad news framed in the worst possible way in order to sap hope, courage, and the will to go on? Seems like he's someone we should think about." - Dave_LF

No, before LOTR, and thus, before we met Treebeard.

It is extensively changed. Extensively.

Is it a fairly familiar quote?

Hmm... No. but it’s in a very famous chapter.

Here's my Hail-Varda guess:

Impressive!

New quote:
"It's more like a grocery store than a thief" is certain! Well, I can't hear it anymore.

That must be Sam with regard to hearing Gollum following them?

Dwarves about Bilbo, or Bilbo objecting to dwarves dissing him?

If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

I would guess that it is Bilbo when he steals the cup from from Smaug, talking to himself: "'More like a grocer than a burglar' indeed! Well, we'll hear no more of that."

This is fun.

And these people are fly of trees and beast hunters. So we are their friends and if they don't leave, we'll get them in the best way we can.
