Bilbo?
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

In other words, :poke:
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

Is it escaping from the prison cells of the Wood-Elves? "You must follow me! We must all keep together and not risk getting separated."

Unverified claims compensation stubs fall, every year our legs are great.

Nope, not at all (but a good thought).

The key words in the sentence begin with "s" and "f".
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

Is that from Tolkien, or from your law firm?

"our legs are great" sounds like something an Elf would say.

Unfortunately, there is nothing even remotely like that in the original quote! Nor is it said by an Elf, but it is said to Elves.

The key words that survive from the original quote to the translation (though one of them in somewhat changed form) begin with an "f" and an "s".
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."
