Taking pride and joy to the airport now. I'll post when I get home.

I have a new kindle so there won't be a long delay as I wrestle with the old device.

One of the words is an accurate translation/synonym of a different meaning of the original word.

Aragorn?

To Frodo?

Neither.

Aragorn is not present. Frodo is but is not talking or is being spoken to.

The one speaking.

Bree, then?

If no Aragorn, no elves, no orcs, Frodo is there, but the listener isn't a hobbit, and far away from Crickethollow... Must be in Bree??

Or.. Oooohhh.. Faramir? Was this spoken in Ithilien?
