I recently started receiving spam emails from the Republican National Committee.
I verified that the links in the email are actual Republican sites, but in doing so I discovered a world of the bizarre.
Seriously, who is going to send an RNC Valentine?
That would creep the hell out of me (as would a DNC Valentine. I am registered as an Independent).
Actually, I receive a fair amount of political spam. I'm just waiting for the political/dating/penis enhancement triple play.
Do other people receive a lot of political spam?

I got one thing from the RNC and asked to be pulled from the mailing list.
I have suspicions about how my email address was acquired by them, some of which involved sales by companies I have done business with online (you mean someone can order from a knife catalog and not be GOP? ) and some of which involve the curious senses of humor people who post at message boards have.

I signed up for both the DNC and RNC mailing lists so I get emails fairly frequently. Less so from the RNC now that the election is over. Funny, that. Although I suppose it isn't technically spam since I volunteered my email address.

I am also independant and get both types of spam.
I am like vison and get info from move.on. as well as other stuff frequently from the places I am on.

Oh yes, I receive political spam, and I receive it from both the major parties.
I even respond to it sometimes with questions that they never answer.
Ever since the GOP nominated Steele, I've responded to their spam by asking if he regrets suggesting that Ron Paul be thrown out of the GOP. No answer. Ever.

I've received political spam in the past, mind you, but the recent spate of G.O.P. spam seemed to start with the election of Steele as the new leader, and it seemed to become almost a daily occurrence (or even more frequent).
Maybe this is part of a strategy to "reach out".
Not the best way to go about it, in my view.
