Welcome, quercus, to the Hall of Fire! I'm very sorry that it took three attempts because of my anti-spambot paranoia. I hope you'll forgive my mistake and enjoy the board! :blackeye:
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Yay, quercus, finally! :welcome:
There is magic in long-distance friendships. They let you relate to other human beings in a way that goes beyond being physically together and is often more profound.

Thank you! I'll patch things together here shortly, so I'm not quite the cipher I may appear to be. First order of business, however, is to read through the slug of reviews of Arda Reconstructed. Yes, that's what I came for.

Hi, Halidryn! A worthy goal, if I do say so myself. :)

If there are any questions I can answer, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi everybody! I post on TORn sometimes and this looks like an interesting place. I'm a big fan of Tolkien's written world (not just LotR) and also, I must admit, quite fond of the movies too.
