Some TORn members have been digging around and have managed to identify some more actors for various parts in THE HOBBIT

Stephen Ure is playing both Fimbul and Grinnah,

Nick Blake is playing someone called Percy!

Stephen Gledhil is Old Gammidge (Old Gammidge was the great-grandfather of Sam.)

Brian Hotter is Otto Sackville-Baggins

Eli Kent is Lethuin, an elf

And very interestingly, Peter Hambleton (Gloin) is also listed as "Troll" - is this the first notification of who is doing one of the Trolls' voices?

DarkJackal also reminds us of a screencap from Vlog #1 showing an animated werewolf figure entitled Grinnah... Grinnah the werewolf?

"Otto"?
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Presumably a typo for Otho, Lobelia's husband!

(btw, the casting info shows up on the actor's "resume" page...I thought I had linked directly to that page but it seems to have defaulted to the "Home" page for each actor)

The ongoing saga of just exactly who is playing Azog continues, with IMDb listing Manu Bennett as Azog, and a confirmation of sorts appears on the LucyLucretia website.

So that means we now have:

Conan Stevens as Bolg
John Rawls as Yazneg
Manu Bennett as Azog

13 Goblins to match the 13 Dwarfs
Since 1410 most Welsh people most of the time have abandoned any idea of independence as unthinkable. But since 1410 most Welsh people, at some time or another, if only in some secret corner of the mind, have been "out with Owain and his barefoot scrubs." For the Welsh mind is still haunted by it's lightning-flash vision of a people that was free.
