That's pathetic.

As Fox news declines to note (and other reviewers mention only in small print at the end), that ad does not come from the Obama campaign. It is the work of two SF-based advertising executives warning about what will happen if America doesn't support various left-wing causes. It references neither Obama nor Romney by name--in fact, it doesn't even mention that there is an election happening at all.

I know. I still think it is pathetic.

It is, but it's also just the work of two individuals with more money than brains. Which is what America's all about, right? ;)

They couldn't do more to hurt the cause that they are supposedly trying to support if they were actually right-wing operatives.

Come to think of it, I've never seen them and Glenn Beck together at the same time...

For what it's worth, they pulled the plug after a single airing due to negative feedback. From Obama HQ, I wouldn't be surprised to learn.

"I'm not in this race to slow the rise of the oceans or to heal the planet. I'm in this race to help the American people." -- Mitt Romney, Sep. 9, on Meet the Press. Emphasis mine.

In conjunction with Sandy video, that could be a very effective Obama ad.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

LOL, cuz "healing" the planet would totally do nothing to help the American people.

As that article points out, not only is not true that Tagg Romney has any connection with the voting machines, the possibility of tampering with the results of the election is negligible. I have seen other articles which quote representatives of the Democratic Party in the counties in question that emphatically state that they are confident that there is no tampering that could be happening. That is a lot different than just saying "no one would do that." If there is a conspiracy here, it is a conspiracy that includes the Democratic Party seeking to ensure that the GOP wins. That simply doesn't make sense to me. As far as I am concerned, it is much ado about nothing.

See? Facts and evidence are best. Line three of the Yovargas Initiative.

I'm tellin' ya all, I LIKE it.

You'll notice that while I was the one who called for facts and evidence, I was far, far too lazy to actually go looking for them. ;)

You delegated. That's very presidential. ;)

Don't worry. I like you too much to ever encourage you to throw your hat in that ring.

Obsessively follow the production of The Hobbit. That's my plan, anyway.

More than anything else that I have seen, this defines Mitt Romney for me:

Mitt Romney Cancels Campaign Events, Campaigns Anyway
