Automata

Post by Impenitent »

This looks fascinating!

Have you heard of it? It seems to be a mash up of Asimov's robotics ideas, and much truer and grittier than the earlier I Robot interpretation. These robots don't look all cute and human; they look like robots.

I'm intrigued and excited by this, and I hope the release in Aus isn't much delayed after the release in the north.

(And also...Antonio Banderas! :wooper: )
Mornings wouldn't suck so badly if they came later in the day.

That looks muuuuuch better than the I Robot movie. And more unsettling.

That I Robot film may well be the worst so-called adaptation in the history of filmmaking.
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

Except it never really claimed to be an adaptation did it? It was more like an "inspired by".
