Is it Frodo, talking about the Pony that was to be called Bill: ‘Isn’t there some trick? Wouldn’t the beast bolt back to him with all our stuff, or help in tracking us, or something?’

That's it. Just the second sentence.
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

Remarkably equilibrium was found on this one on just two steps (English to Japanese, and back to English one time and that was it), but still was changed significantly (including becoming much longer than the original):

In striving to fulfil our potential, our backbone remains the central framework for everything we do.

Straight from some mission statement somewhere.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Yes, but only one: fulfil.

Is it from LOTR?

And if yes, was it spoken by a wizard?

Yes, no.

It was spoken by very much a non-major character, to very much a major character.

Did this non-major character make it into the movie?

Yes. If anything, slightly more prominently.

Less prominent than that. And he doesn't die in the films. At least not IN the films.

Also Arwen is a bit more prominent than Haldir in the movies!

This character has no name in books or film; he is just identified by a title.

Jude, honestly, they are pretty unrelated.

Frelga, very good guess, but no.

This character is very green around the gills in the films.
