It's available in the U.S. on Amazon. We ended up buying all the seasons (at $4.99 each, a bargain). Haven't seen this clip, though!

ETA: Such baby faces! For some reason I've always thought of Stephen Fry as being older than Hugh Laurie, but maybe not.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

I think Stephen Colbert has just come up with the perfect HoF video: combining political commentary with in-depth grammatical discussion:

It's not perfect - it doesn't contain any Tolkien references. You will need to combine it with the previous video to get that.

Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose.

That was cool. I love food science. I make a lot of stuff from scratch. Now I want my own liquid nitrogen. :P

It's actually "Foil, Arms and Hog" but I always seems to spell at least one of them wrong! Normally Hogg...

If you're a geek, you know about this already! But even if you do, it's nice to see Patrick make the announcement, and get all emotional doing it.

I’m excited about this one. I may end up getting the CBS All Access thing for a while.

I haven’t seen more than the first few of the other new Star Trek. I understand they got better (more like Star Trek—it’s a philosophy, not just a space action show). I might try to catch up on them.

From the "people who are way more hard-core than I will ever be" section.

Video at the link.

Terrifying video of plane with left engine on fire returning back to Ufa airport this morning. Respect to the passengers who can be heard laughing and sardonically joking about life. "You're on holiday?" "Yeah" "Well, this is some holiday"
All survived. https://t.co/Xp6ak5rMWy
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

I love this. Its in both Irish and English, almost like a beat poem. Its translated in the subtitles, but I love how she rhymes both languages sometimes with each other (a bit like Lin Manuel does with Spanish in In the Heights). Its also a pretty powerful statement on feminism in sport.

I obviously need to grow bamboo so I, too, can have this furniture!
The dumbest thing I've ever bought
was a 2020 planner.

"Does anyone ever think about Denethor, the guy driven to madness by staying up late into the night alone in the dark staring at a flickering device he believed revealed unvarnished truth about the outside word, but which in fact showed mostly manipulated media created by a hostile power committed to portraying nothing but bad news framed in the worst possible way in order to sap hope, courage, and the will to go on? Seems like he's someone we should think about." - Dave_LF

You can just come take some of mine from around my yard.
(The stuff is basically just the worst weed. It takes over everything and grows absurdly fast and huge and is practically unstoppable. I've grown to hate the stuff.)

That lady doesn't seem like quite the badass though.
