Starting on episode 1. I've seen some of the trailers and it looks amusing, more modern (in script) than Austen but firmly in that era.
Edit: definitely hits on more gritty realism in some ways. I really love the diverse cast.
Edit 2: I like the chance they took to depart most firmly from what could have been a very cliche scene.
Edit 3: In episode 2, I did expect the main plot point to take a bit longer to develop, to be honest.
Edit 4: It seems I spoke too soon before.
Edit 5: Eh... episode 3 may have gone a bit far for my liking - given the setting.

The dumbest thing I've ever bought
was a 2020 planner.
"Does anyone ever think about Denethor, the guy driven to madness by staying up late into the night alone in the dark staring at a flickering device he believed revealed unvarnished truth about the outside word, but which in fact showed mostly manipulated media created by a hostile power committed to portraying nothing but bad news framed in the worst possible way in order to sap hope, courage, and the will to go on? Seems like he's someone we should think about." - Dave_LF
