Would they even bothered to have any female characters in the show? They did ask in the trailer, "will Arwen kiss Aragorn?" and they showed a busty unnamed person to keep your attention (possibly Galadriel) but that's about it.
I'm currently reading some "classic" sci fi and finding the total lack of females of substance to be increasingly irritating. And when I talk with others about it on a hard sci fi forum, most of the guys just don't get it. They were fine with the boys only club when they read the books in the 70s, and still fine with it now. /rant

That's one thing I LOVE about Rings of Power - Galadriel can kick ass better than most of the men, and is still beautiful. And Disa is another really powerful woman...
