Suddenly I feel I need to have some Irish whiskey. Now and forever.

I'd love to add a splash of rainwater to mine now.

Ah, yes. But I'd prefer Irish rain to Virginia rain...

A touch of the ocean is only appropriate. You'd have to wait for a Nor'Easter on the East Coast. Or a hurricane.

Now that would be a great ad...

I'll be on Cape Cod for Christmas. Perhaps a little snow in the whiskey glass will do?

Will bring a camera crew, just in case.

Not surprisingly, that was one of my favorite Super Bowl commercials. :D

(I still think the puppy with the Clydesdale horse was the best. Very cute!)

As someone said in the comments, the best cover of AC/DC you'll see on baroque cellos this week.

http://www.wimp.com/thunderstruckcellos/

For anyone worried by the bow damage, horsehair breaks all the time even during "proper" performances. You'll notice they didn't do anything that hurt the wood of the bow. I almost worried that they might end by smashing their cellos, but realized that no one who played the cello that well, with obvious classical training, would ever do such a thing. And of course they didn't.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

That rocked. :music:

I've long wished more people would do stuff like this. There really is no specific reason why guitar has to be the default rock instrument. All sorts of instruments could rock given the chance.
