Do you have adblocker installer,Scribe? I know Rose does.
Yes, I'm running the most current version of Firefox on Windows 11 and it has UBlock Origin - I think this is the new defalut. Since the "chat bar" isn't technically an "AD" it might be slipping by due to that. I need to go get and re-install the updated version of AdBlock Plus for Firefox which I remember being both very robust and easy to use. Hopefully, it will still have the feature that allows blocking the "frame" that the chat bar displays in. More than one way to skin a varmint . . .
Ain't technology grand?
On another note, I was incredibly sad to see that Pele passed away. He was one of the most astonishing footballers I've ever had the good fortune to watch. *sigh*

It was DOWAR.
How I came up with that instead of say polar or molar remains a mystery.
Ah.. in my earlier comment I was looking at your 4th guess. Dowar is an islet of Australia, I believe. Douar is a village in Lebanon? Both are proper nouns and wouldn't be a wordle solution
According to Wiktionary, dowar/douar means "a camp or village of tents in an Arabic country." Merriam-Webster gives a similar definition but without listing the alternate spelling.

Huh. It's weird that my dictionary doesn't list it. It combines several large dictionary sources in addition to Apple, Thesaurus, and Wikipedia. When I tried looking it up under Merriam-Webster it says: The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling suggestion below or try again using the search bar above.
edited to add: Oh.. it's because they're spelling it Douar. My online dictionary does not have that either. It's let me down!!

Yeah, I've never done that before in the occasional times that I have played.
