Re: Nature videos
Aww. Turkey run. I used to live near a place by that name.
As for Robins. Normally I enjoy them but the last couple of years they have been making a serious mess on our deck. We've never had this problem before. I'm thinking it may be due to nearby mulberry trees after their nosh they come here for the bird bath. There is purple poop everywhere. A LOT of it. Piles of it.

Did you know that bears have floating clavicles, like cats? Did you know that it means that bears can fit through your pet door?

I saw this posted by Sunny on Facebook. There are no words that are sufficient.

Spotted at the end of our walk today at the nearby park.

Re: Nature videos
Holy cow, V, did you take that video? Is that a mountain lion? Talk about close encounters.

Re: Nature videos
It's a bobcat, not a mountain lion. It was about a hundred feet behind us.

Ah, ok, I wasn't sure of the scale in the video. Still, exciting! I've seen bobcats but not that close.
