I saw the first episode. I thought it was good; hubby wasn't impressed enough to watch the rest of the series. I only watch a few hours per week with him, and our next few "dates" will be with Andor, Watson, and Holmes & Daughter. Maybe I'll watch the rest on my own later.

I’m enjoying “Watson,” but it’s in large part due to finding this version of Dr. Watson extraordinarily attractive in looks, voice and brains.

I saw the trailer and yes, that actor is smoking hot. But then I watched the first episode, and it just didn't land with me.

And I'd give Watson another try - it's not great TV, but it is better than average.
I'm starting to watch The Eternaut on Netflix. It's based on a comic book series written in the 50s in Argentina. I read the first part of the comic book series some time ago (in Spanish - it was rather slow going for me) and was interested in seeing it come to the screen (with English dubbing/subtitles!). So far (first episode) they are doing a good job. The comic book series was serious and political in its content, and the author was eventually "disappeared".

Found a new series that I"m enjoying following - the new Matlock!
The plot revolves around a retired lawyer who lost her daughter to drug addiction. She feels predatory marketing of the drug was responsible for her death as well as the death of many others. She looks into how it all happened, and it seems the company covered up their marketing practices to avoid being blamed. Determined to bring them to justice, she gets a job at the law firm which handled legal issues for the drug's manufacturer.
The show also deals with other cases that Matlock handles while in the firm's employ. Matlock (a pseudonym she takes to hide her real identity, which is Madeline Kingston) played by Kathy Bates comes across as a wonderful sympathetic character, with a mind as sharp as a tack. I just LOVE her character, and strongly recommend the series!

Sunsilver, I love the new Matlock, too. Kathy Bates is so good as both the devious attorney and in her home life. The relationship with her husband and grandson feels warm and real. I’m glad there will be a second season.

Wampus, I just found out there was such a good reaction to its opening, that it was renewed for a second season by Episode 2!
