welcome artie, :)

and the goblin with the scary armour, Welcome to you too :D

AS a rule I don't come in here much, mainly becasue I see myself as a visitor as opposed to a resident and it seems impolite to welcome people into another's home. :D

TIGGer, I consider you very much a resident, not a visitor.

Hey there, TIG. The armor is getting a little shabby. As a rule, it only gets cleaned once a month, whether it needs it or not. :D

Ps. Artie reminded me when he posted, I meant to ask, are there really such things as Heffalumps and Woozels ?

The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is I'm the only one

The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful chaps
They're loaded with vim and with vigor
They love to leap in your laps
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is I'm the only one

Tiggers are wonderful fellahs
Tiggers are awfully sweet
Everyone elses is jealous
And thats why I repeat
The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is I'm the only one
Yes, I'm the only one
(Grrrrrr...)

:D

Thank you so much, truehobbit and Voronwë. I hope this doesn't make me sound too mercenary, but I registered because there was a link at TOB to pics of last weekend's San Francisco moot, which were posted here. I clicked on the link only to learn that the picks were in a forum accessable only to members. So...here I am. :)

Actually, Alys told me about this site last spring when I registered at TOB, so I am rather late in joining. It is good to see you both. :)

Hi, speedie.

I warn you, though, some of the threads are addictive here. For instance, I've been dying to comment on "Radical Clerics React to Pope's Comments" and "Smart Leaders" but I've just not had time.

Darned m00t. Darned job.

Maybe we should tell people that they need to give up such things as jobs and real life when they come here?

Nah, not good advertising.

Uh oh.

baby tuckoo needs changing. SPD?????

And while you're doing it, could you tell me about your experiences editing this anarcho-syndicalist-catholic publication that semi-employs you? And could I make a warm bottle out of the magic cooler?

*gurgles thanks*

Hello, Rowanberry, Jnyusa, Frelga, and baby tuckoo. Thanks for the welcomes. :)

 Ok, baby tuckoo, I got your pm (not that I understand it in the least ;) ) and I know at least two fellows on TOB who are from Sacramento. Are you one of them?

Have a warm bottle from the cooler, but it's a white Russian, not formula. And editing that anarcho-syndicalist-catholic publication is something I can never talk about, as it's too much like a bunch of layabouts having a lark for me to want to go into details.

Friends, just a gentle reminder that the first item in our Members Rights and Responsibilities states:

1. We ask each member to register under one screen name only.

This is probably a good time for me to suggest that people familiarize themselves with the very brief LAWS AND CUSTOMS in the HALL OF FIRE

Wulffie! Welcome!

It's great to see you here!
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”
