I'd like to ask for prayers for my brother, John.

I would love to vent about his situation, because it is quite emotional for everyone. However, I will protect his privacy. Suffice it to say he will be facing a huge change in his life, a change which he has no control over, and is completely unlike anything he would ever have wanted.

I would very much appreciate your prayers for him. Thank you.

You know he has my prayers, my friend.

As do you.

What Voronwë said.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Thank you, friends. :grouphug:

It's just so hard.

Thinking of John and you, Anthy.
I won't just survive
Oh, you will see me thrive
Can't write my story
I'm beyond the archetype
I won't just conform
No matter how you shake my core
'Cause my roots, they run deep, oh

When, when the fire's at my feet again
And the vultures all start circling
They're whispering, "You're out of time,"
But still I rise
This is no mistake, no accident
When you think the final nail is in, think again
Don't be surprised, I will still rise

Prayers, please for PearlyDi and family. Her Dad had a stroke last Saturday and is still in hospital. He is 85 but in good health and there is hope that he will recover - but it may be a long haul.

She is up in Norfolk with her family now and without internet access - so asked me to pass the message on to all of you!
