Nice Inanna! Fun V!
It's 10:20PM and I haven't played my games yet today. We spent the day working in daughter's yard. Grueling work, oi. We shall see if my very tired & stiff self will finish them as I try to fall asleep...

I could have eliminated some letters but I was pretty sure I knew all the possibilities. Of course it was the last one.

Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
There were so many variants possible today I had 2 words to try (for a total of I believe 6 possible words) ready to try to narrow it down. Fortunately for me, I choose the better of the two, first.

Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
I got all the Strands words without a hint, but I'm puzzled about what one of the words has to do with the theme. I was expecting it to go into the hint pile, but it surprised me by giving me a word credit.

Jude, it's a silly internet meme thing, and I was surprised/annoyed to see it show up in what's supposed to be a general knowledge puzzle.

Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
I think its safe to answer this. Have you heard of the 6 degrees of Bacon? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Degre ... evin_Bacon
Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon or Bacon's Law is a parlor game where players challenge each other to arbitrarily choose an actor and then connect them to another actor via a film that both actors have appeared in together, repeating this process to try to find the shortest path that ultimately leads to prolific American actor Kevin Bacon. It rests on the assumption that anyone involved in the Hollywood film industry can be linked through their film roles to Bacon within six steps. The game's name is a reference to "six degrees of separation", a concept that posits that any two people on Earth are six or fewer acquaintance links apart.
The Bacon number of an actor or actress is the number of degrees of separation (see Six degrees of separation) they have from actor Kevin Bacon, as defined by the game known as Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Yeah, I looked it up after Dave posted that. I can honestly say I'd never heard of it until yesterday.
So, since you're an actor, what's your Bacon number?

Oh! Yes, I've heard of the Kevin Bacon thing. If the hint had been 'degrees' I would have thought of Kevin/Bacon.
