I need to think about the waffle strategy. I didn't make any swaps that went to the wrong word, but perhaps there is a way to make the letters go to the correct place sooner

Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
This is your brain...this is your brain on a door....
I got doored yesterday afternoon - going about 10 mph in a bike lane when some clueless person opened the door of her parked SUV right in my face. My bike is trashed, there's a 3 inch long dent in the front of my bike helmet that I don't recall making, I have bruises all over, and it took me three tries to get the correct bus home (on a route I've used for the past 15 years). My brain is definitely running a little slower, but evidently I didn't damage the word puzzle part. Small favors. And yes, I'm waiting for a video appointment with a doc.

Oh, no! I hope you're able to see a doctor soon, narya, but I'm glad you're still well enough to clean up at word puzzles!

Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
I've tried figuring out all the words in advance like Rose has mentioned, but I'm too much of a visual thinker, so I get impatient after inferring two or three and have to start moving letters around to see the result and be able to find the other words. It's kept working out so far...

I finally cracked waffle. Had 2 swaps remaining. And now it changed on me before I could share.

((hugs)) we take your word for it Inanna.
I had all of my words figure out in advance, but I still have a hard time completing it with fewer moves/the maximum number of stars.

narya, good thing you were wearing a helmet! Hopefully it took most of the damage for you.

I'm guessing video doctor may have wanted her to be checked out in person. It sounds like a pretty serious crash. Be well narya.

I'm seriously impressed with those of you who can figure out all the words in Waffle before moving anything. I just muddle thru. Which is probably why I run out of moves, likely as not.
