Same; it's very rare that I see a depiction of Balrogs (official or otherwise) that even comes close to capturing what I envision when I read the description of it in Fellowship. Thanks for sharing the link to this one! :)

I too like that depiction of the balrog!

A commercial for the One Ring
Let the other societies take the skilled, the hopefuls, the ambitious, the self-confident. He’d take the whining resentful ones, the ones with a bellyful of spite and bile, the ones who knew they could make it big if only they’d been given the chance. Give him the ones in which the floods of venom and vindictiveness were dammed up behind thin walls of ineptitude and lowgrade paranoia.

Hasn't arrived yet! But I haven't built Rivendell yet and that's first :)

I've built my Rivendell. I'm not mad keen on Barad-dûr but it looked better in the shop than the pictures online.

I would prefer Minas Tirith or Meduseld.

I would like to build Rivendell. Maybe I’ll take that up in the winter break!

Love the balrog depiction. I would like to build Rivendell but that will have to wait for awhile. Minis Tirith would be awesome! I'd like to see a Gondolin would be cool also.
The world is indeed full of peril, and in it, there are many dark places; but still, there is much that is fair, and though in all lands, love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.

Maybe they should call it Disa... Durin's record on safe mining wasn't great!

Interesting analogy, and extra points for book and not movie reference. But it's still duct tape.
